Praise & Worship Team
Goals for the Maranatha Praise and Worship Team.
The joining together of those God brought us as a team.
To Praise Him with our voices and with music. Ever expanding our individual and corporate talent(s). Not that we may stand on our own, but, that we may have something to offer God.
Spiritual Growth for each of us. Individually, and Corporately. That we would learn to worship in the Spirit daily. And, that we would fill our lives with the Praises of God not only publicly but privately as well.
That we would present ourselves as part of God's plan to build His Church at Maranatha.
That God will use us to lead His people into a deeper Praise and Worship.
That we would be used to lead God's people into private praise as well as public praise.
That we would be used by God to develop a sense of expectancy among the general congregation.
That we all might arrive "Prayed-Up" and "Praised- Up".
That as a people we would provide a place of worship where God's Spirit willingly hovers to such a degree that no man can enter that sanctuary without a full conviction of God's Presence. So, there, then is a glimpse of my heart for Praise and Worship, and the place the Praise team occupies in the church.
"Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where that Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty."
2 Cor. 3:17
The Lord inhabits the Praises of His people.
Ps. 22:3, Gal. 6:16, Rom. 9:6-8
